Actually, the food I got was quite good, especially their yellow pepper soup and the gorditas were well made. Unfortunately most El Pasoans are vulgarians when it comes to Mexican food (see the popularity of Chicos Tacos), so while I am saddened by its closing I am not surprised.

What a sad news. I used to be a regular there as I worked closeby. Will certainly miss them but they weren't that busy when I used to go there.

I just its harder in El Paso to own a Mexican Restaurant. I myself don't go to Mexicans restaurants here because I always find myself saying that I can make it better at home, or the enchilada sauce was missing this or that. That's why I don't buy Menudo, tortillas or Tamales...i make them better at home. I think people just know what is supposed to taste like and Mexican food is not the best to be made outside of ones kitchen, its cant be rushed and hard to make in bulk....Enchiladas are the perfect example, never order enchiladas from a restaurant make them yourself!

I live nearby and have seen a succession of eateries come and go in that space. I think it's jinxed. It probably needs a chain restaurant to be successful here in EP. How about Panera Bread?

I visited a lot of website but I believe this one has something extra in it.
