Who are you voting for?
I've heard several people going through the same thing I am. I was leaning toward voting for Barack Obama in the Democratic primary. But now that we've had three visits by the Clintons, and zero from the Obama camp, I'm thinking of switching over and voting for Hillary Clinton.
With Obama ignoring El Paso, it's kind of hard to pull the lever for him.
But, the good news is the Democrats offer two great choices. Pity the choices on the Republican side.
On the way home from seeing Bill Clinton, my five-year-old daughter, Mia, was giving me the hard sell that we need to "vote for the girl. I want to vote for Hillary."
So with that final endorsement, that's the way I'm heading.

LIVE FREE OR DIEBOLD!!!
Republicans that run this city through their sold out puppet Democrats like Wiles and Esparza may flip the votes using the corrupt Diebold machines just as they did in Florida. Watch this youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch... They gotta continue to get their sweetheart deals without being questioned or contested. Hey the Bush Cheney war machine costs money! They'll make sure to flip the votes so that the right people win and the money keeps flowing.

I'm proud that in my country today we have two strong candidates who are both qualified to be President. The fact that one is a woman and another a black man is hardly the reason they are deserving of my vote.

Can someone explain to me what the excitement is about the Clinton family to El Paso? What did he do for this city when he was in office? Sign Nafta into law. How many of the citizens of this community lost good paying jobs? His wife will be more of the same. Interestingly enough it would be nice to have a woman president - just not the Clinton woman as president.

Does it matter who wins? El Paso is democratic town. Where has that gotten El Paso, poorest city in the nation suffering from brain drain. With the policies of either candidates, higher minimum rates, taxing corporations, bigger government, higher broken welfare, and socialized medicine, we can expect to stay were we are.

I am a Republican, unfortunately I dont think John McCain can win against Olinton or Obama. I made the choice yesterday to vote for Clinton. I would rather have Clinton in office than Obama. I think Obama could be dangerous for the US.

I am voting for Hillary in our Democratic Primary, but I feel McCain is the better candidate overall.
I probably will vote for John McCain in the general election in November.

HOW TO FRAME POLITICOS THAT DON'T SUBMIT TO GOP, SO THAT THE RICH REPUBLICANS CAN CONTINUE TO RUN THIS CITY AND MAKE THE REAL MONEY FOR DOING NOTHING.(exept lobbying and payoffs to sellout democrats)
1. Frame, people. Find the weakest person in the group and threaten him with years in jail. He will lie for you against the politico. You have the power, the Justice dept. will follow your orders. If not they get fired and replaced like Valerie Plame on the CIA. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Sostre
2. Get the FBI to investigate real criminals and mix in a few non criminal politically motivated attacks, people won't know the difference. Look how this democratic governor was prosecuted for taking a donation that was legal. Since the media is bought and paid for, just keep repeating the lie till the sheeple believe it. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/02/21/60minutes/main3859830.shtml
3. Once everything goes your way and you make tens, hundreds of millions or billions, give some of the ill gotten money back to charity, the people will actually thank you for stealing from them, and you can continue your scheme.
4. Make sure you give a little to the powers that be in order to be protected by them. Rick Perry will make sure nobody investigates you. Maybe some of the disinformation billions that Bush admitted to using can be used to protect you in the media.
. Know that the people are on their knees and anything can be gotten away with by the power elite. The FBI and CIA take orders from them and can only comply, just like our military is being used to steal oil. They must obey. Like it or not!!!! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7725966698433381712&q=conspiracy+of+silence&total=368&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=3

Hillary Clinton is a woman who has been fighting for Little People all of her professional life. She led the battle for universal health care. If your child is covered by Chips, thank Hillary. She is the best candidate.

In response to the comment about Obama not making to El paso, so it is hard to pull the lever for him: What is the matter with you? I live in Calais, ME. He didn't come to my town either, but I still understood that out of the two candidates he was the only one that did not insult the smaller states by only kissing up to the big ones like Texas. He is also the only one that planned beyond Super Tuesday. Hillary did not expect it go this far. A month ago she could have cared less about Your's or your daughter's vote.

PS. Sending Bill, or the daughter does not count.

I'm sorrry, but, we are going to look really stupid to the rest of the world when we elect Hillary as the next president of the Untited States. Seriously: BUSH, CLINTON, CLINTON, BUSH, BUSH, CLINTON? I mean we fought and won the revolutionary war to put an end to monarchies here. Didn't we?
Okay, I'm done now. Sorry I ranted.

OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT? PUHULEESE , LET'S GET SERIOUS! THANK GOODNESS THE PRESS PRINTED SOMETHING REVEALING THE TRUE SENTIMENTS OF THIS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE (DEMOCRAT), STILL, ALL WERE FAR TOO KIND...
BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, "UNPATRIOTIC"' ,THEY WROTE, [ON YAHOO AND ELSEWHERE (2/23/08)]. THIS IS, UNDENIABLY, TOO FAVORABLE A EUPHEMISM FOR ONE RUNNING FOR THE HIGHEST OFFICE IN OUR LAND! APPARENTLY, THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, WHO PUT FORTH THE CRITICISM, ARE SUGAR-COATING THEIR WORDS ABOUT HIM,AS WELL. I THOUGHT THIS WAS AN ELECTION YEAR, NOT A FRIENDLY
SOCCER GAME!
I FOR ONE, WILL NOT BE SILENCED OR SUBDUED BY HIS CURRENT FANFARE.
THE NERVE OF HIM AND HIS WIFE! SHE BLATANTLY DOCUMENTED THAT SHE'S NEVER BEEN PROUD OF BEING AN AMERICAN IN HER ADULT LIFE , ??? (UNTIL NOW, WHEN LEFTIST-GURU HUSBAND RUNS , NOT FOR MAYOR, BUT FOR DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENCY OF OUR UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?)
WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS, ANYWAY?... TO REFUSE TO WEAR THE AMERICAN FLAG PIN ON HIS LAPEL !... OR EVEN PUT HIS HAND OVER HIS HEART DURING OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM? THIS IS NOT MERELY "UNPATRIOTIC" WHEN YOU ARE RUNNING FOR THIS POSITION OF THE HIGHEST MAGNITUDE! THIS IS A DISGRACE. SHAME ON HIM FOR REFUSING TO DO THESE, THE VERY SIMPLEST TOKENS OF NATIONAL RESPECT.
BY HIS BOLD REFUSAL TO HONOR THESE SACRED AMERICAN TRADITIONS, THIS OBAMA UNDERMINES ALL THAT WE STAND FOR, ALL THAT MANY FIGHT & DIE FOR, EVEN AS I WRITE THIS !
WE ALL SHOULD DISMISS HIM, READILY FROM ANY AND ALL OBLIGATIONS TO US.
IS THIS WHAT MIGHT RULE OVER OUR BLESSED COUNTRY, IN ADDITION TO COMMANDING OUR EVER-COURAGEOUS ARMED FORCES? HEAVEN HELP US ! WE HAD BETTER NOT ALLOW HIM TO ATTAIN THIS POST, THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS,REVERED OF ALL POSITIONS, EVER BESTOWED ON ANY ONE INDIVIDUAL:THE PRESIDENCY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA !!!!!!
WE PATRIOTIC AMERICANS, SAY TO BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA: "AMERICA, LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT" !
BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA HAS STATED IN AN INTERVIEW THAT, IF ELECTED, HE INTENDS TO "PARTNER WITH IRAQ "; AS WELL AS SHUN OUR ALLIES. THAT WOULD BE A "CHANGE",ALRIGHT. IN ANOTHER INTERVIEW HE SLURRED LACKADAISICALLY: THEY (THE PEOPLE) MAY ELECT SOMEONE ELSE "TO RUN THIS "THING" " ( REFERRING TO"AMERICA" AS "THIS "thing"). INCREDIBLE ! BUT, WHAT IS EVEN MORE SHOCKING,
IS THAT NOBODY, NOBODY: NOT THE PRESS, NOR THE POLITICAL PARTIES, EVEN CALLED HIM ON THESE CRITICAL REMARKS!
THIS OVERLY- PRIVILEGED AMERICAN MALE, HAS BEHAVED WITHOUT HONOR. PEOPLE FROM EVERYWHERE,EVERYWHERE,ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO PLACE THEIR HANDS OVER THEIR HEARTS AND HOLD OUR FLAGS HIGH FOR AMERICA, BUT HE OVERTLY REFRAINS??? EXCUSE ME, SIR.... EVEN OUR WORST ADVERSARIES HAVE HONORED OUR AMERICAN TRADITIONS WHEN THEY VISIT OUR HOME OF THE FREE !!! I AM TIRED OF THIS COMMUNIST SYMPATHIZING ATTITUDE AND CARELESS EMBRACE OF THOSE WHO WOULD BLINDLY WELCOME THIS BRAND OF "CHANGE" . THIS IS NO IDLE CHATTER, NOR IS IT TALK SHOW RHETORIC,THAT WE PUT FORTH.
RECENT RESEARCH IN AIM (ACCURACY IN MEDIA.COM) REVEALS VERBATIM THIS "DEMOCRATIC" CANDIDATE'S COMMUNISTIC ENTANGLEMENTS, IN ADDITION TO THE FACT THAT HIS MENTOR/TEACHER WAS A WELL-KNOWN STAUNCH COMMUNIST (FORMERLY NAMED BY HIM AS "FRANK") :
Obama’s Communist Mentor
AIM Column | By Cliff Kincaid | February 18, 2008
In his books, Obama admits attending "socialist conferences" and coming into contact with Marxist literature. But he ridicules the charge of being a "hard-core academic Marxist," which was made by his colorful and outspoken 2004 U.S. Senate opponent, Republican Alan Keyes.
However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just "Frank."
LIBERAL? POSING AS "DEMOCRATS", AND THEN RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT? AS I WRITE THIS, HE IS BEING PAID THE USUAL HEFTY SENATOR'S SALARY BY ALL OF US (AMERICANS, ALL) TO NOT SHOW UP REGULARLY AT HIS SENATOR'S JOB. RATHER ,IN ACTUALITY,WE ARE PAYING HIM SO HE CAN PARADE AROUND THE COUNTRY;RUN HIS HUMOR-BASED RIDICULE CAMPAIGN, DIMINISH OUR AMERICA, BY HIS OWN IMMATURE ACTIONS!
SO, IF HE SEEMS OVERTLY SILLY & OPTIMISTIC, WELL, WE HAVE GIVEN HIM PLENTY OF REASONS TO GRIN (IT APPEARS AS IF HE IS LAUGHING AT US ... YOU GULLIBLE, INFINITELY TOLERANT AMERICANS,YOU)...
I SAY, C'MON., THIS IS THE HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND, FELLOW CITIZENS !
WE ARE A PROUDEST OF DEMOCRACIES, AND WE WOULD DO WELL TO PRESERVE THIS PRIVILEGE BESTOWED UPON US. AS HE WELL KNOWS, WE EVEN HAVE A COMMUNIST PARTY, THAT MAY BETTER ACCOMMODATE HIS "PUBLIC- DENIAL-OF--AMERICA"- CAMPAIGN STYLE. IF YOU ARE GOING TO RUN, SIR, AT LEAST RUN UNDER THE CORRECT TICKET, !
WELL,FOLKS,IT IS LATE IN THE DAY OF THIS ELECTION,BUT NOT TOO LATE. IF ANTI-AMERICAN SENTIMENT IN A PRESIDENT DOESN'T SCARE THE HECK OUT OF YOU PERHAPS THIS WILL: I WAS DOING A REPORT WITH MY 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, ON THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES AND FOUND ON THIS DISTURBING PIECE OF INFO ON WIKIPEDIA (FREE INTERNET ENCYCLOPEDIA ITEM 20)
OBAMA
!Barack Obama
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Obama)
.[20] He wrote that he used alcohol, marijuana, and cocaine during his teenage years to "push questions of who I was out of my mind".[
HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN TO STAY AWAY FROM ILLEGAL DRUGS,TO RESPECT THEMSELVES, RESPECT AMERICA? : "GET STONED OUT OF YOUR MIND, HONEY, THEN SOME DAY YOU MIGHT RUN FOR PRESIDENT TOO", DARLING.
IF WE ARE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO VOTE FOR THIS MAN AND HIS PROPOSED "CHANGE" ,WE SURELY WILL GET MORE "CHANGE" THAN WE EVER BARGAINED FOR! IF WE CARE ABOUT AMERICA, AND WE DO, WE MUST ASK OURSELVES WHAT IS HIS REAL AGENDA? DESPITE ALL HIS HOOPLA AND REDUNDANT VERBIAGE,I FOR ONE, HAVE NEVER HEARD HIM CLARIFY IT SUFFICIENTLY.
PERHAPS WE OUGHT TO HOLD FAST TO THE AGES OF WISDOM ,WHICH KNOWS,ALL TOO WELL, THAT ACTIONS WILL ALWAYS ,ALWAYS, "SPEAK" LOUDER THAN WORDS.

Cudos to Mr. Paul Reyrich! He speaks for all of us when he expounds the principles of our great country by endorsing Mike Huckabee for President!
The other day was my debut listening to Rush Limbaugh. I was returning home from Orlando and turned on talk radio for the first time, as well. It was at the time when Romney had just dropped out of the race and the many callers kept flogging the proverbial dead horse, saying, "should we vote?"...."we arent going to vote," "Why should or would we vote?" "Who can we vote for?..." blah blah, yaddah yaddah (yawn, yawn). Mr. Linbaugh's only suggestion was "TO CAST AN ANTI-HILLARY VOTE" come November by voting for Mccain instead(Hmmm...). > As I continued listening,I silently sloganed,"Romeny's gone ...so let's move on".
As for myself, I am nobody, just an American citizen with a voice and a vote(and proud of it!). I recenly changed my vote decision from John McCain to Mike Huckabee because: #1.He gets things done with a lot less money (Killary Clinton, is literally crying poverty, and had about 131 million (give or take a few mil). On the other trail, Huckabee had approximately 9 million and is still going strong,(Maybe Killary should take some sage economic advice from HIS campaign). Which one do you want to manage your money/our economy(retorical question, the answer is obvious,(; hee,hee... )?? , #2.Mike is unshakeable on crucial issues (the only one in '08)and is not a quitter. #3.Mr. Huckabee also won his own state in the primary by a enormous margin. (therefore we can note that his constituents, who KNOW him, HAVE FAITH IN HIM...Always a good sign... ) As OPPOSED TO THE OTHER POTENTIAL CANDIDATES, Huckabee is not full of scandals like Hillary Clinton (despite dropping her last name...didn't help much),and Huckabee most definetly does NOT WANT TO "PARTNER WITH IRAQ" (real QUOTE from Barack)) as opposed to what Obama Hussein Barack has stated. He is just as full of hollow promises (let's hope that "Iraqai partnership" is one of them) as he is to any plans to implement them (added bonus?,well,he appears a bit delusional,) . Finally, Huckabee is not
a "moderate" like Mccain...(I mean, really, come on now,how "moderate" is using aborted baby parts torn apart in petri dishes anyway? It's NOT!!!)
So in simpler words,or as simple as I can keep them, the party is divided and that house cannot stand.
On common ground, there is one thing I have to agree on with the other presdential "hopefuls"(more like presidential " gag-reels"). THAT, my friends of goodwill, IS THIS : We ARE ready for a change. It's name is Mike Huckabee! So,let's nominate honestly and give Hukcabee and his voters back his RIGHT to COMPETE. IN DOING SO we will release a candidate for real conservatives...the Republican way...the AMERICAN way. After all,if the Republican votes don't go to McCain, where ARE they going to go? Maybe to Killary, the European Socialist in America...or maybe to Barack Obama and his freinds in the Middle East... So a hearty welcome back Mr Werich and his support.
As far as all you other NAY-SAYERS and "EXPERTS" go? Well, put it this way, you've been wrong too many times nowadays to have very much credibilty.
SO YOU HAD BETTER DO MORE FREQUENT CHECKS ON THE VERY PULSE OF THE AVERAGE AMERICAN VOTER. OTHERWISE,ONE DAY, THEY MAY JUST DIE ON YOU !!!

Hillary Clinton has been dragged through the Mud. She Stepped on and Spat on... AND She's STILL here. She's a SURVIVOR and We KNOW She's in it for the Long Haul!! She's been there for US (Hispanics) - NOW - it's OUR Turn!! Let's MAKE A DIFFERENCE! LETS BAND TOGETHER, TAKE HER MANO-A-MANO and LEAD HER TO THE WHITE HOUSE!!
Posted by: Eduardo | February 24, 2008 at 01:48 PM
And just when I say how proud I am that we have two great candidates running for President, I read the comments such as those by Peter and Elizabeth &Co., and I am reminded why it is so significant that we have a black male and a female candidate. And it saddens me because our country still has YEARS of enlightment ahead of it.

I dont believe Obama has ignored El Paso. It is well known he is running just a smart campaign. Hello didnt you see Sylvester making a fool of himself at the Don Haskins Center. With Clinton's Mariachi prancing around the stage endorsing the same old politics I dont blame Obama for staying where the delegates are. Austin, Dallas, Houston. And yes I can hear you say those cities are heavily populated black community. Well remember El Paso is always two or three years behind all the other cities in Texas. Ohh yeah, and as a young educated white collar Hispanic theres no way in God's green earth Ill ever vote for clinton. Hillary can have the old, foolish Hispanic vote but its time for change. Out with the old and in with new. Its time the new generation of America steps forward nad kicks the old players out. Thats you Hillary This is one Hispanic vote shell never get. And dont think i have forgot about you Elliott. I think by the looks of things Reyes has given his support way to early maybe expecting a clinton nod in Washington. Just remember the last El Paso Guy who did such a foolish thing; he's in Spain Alone. I cant wait till November when Reyes and Shapleigh put on their Mariachi suit again, this time for a new leader. Odama for America.
Go Barrack

i bet the person who wrote the above mentioned isnt even hispanic. no hispanic would refer to another as "stupid hispanic". this is one of obamas spin. he spend so much money on hecklers and computer geeks. i am hispanic and all over the country we voted clinton. arriba la raza
Posted by: john | February 25, 2008 at 02:58 AM
First of all it doesnt say stupid. So foolish seems more appropiate and i think you John or Juan fits the description appropiately. you can arriba all you want but you tell me where that has gotten any hispanics. This truly shows your ignorance and fear in real change and to support a family of scandal what did the clintons do for the hispanic im still waiting. As yes im am a hispanic but more importantly i am an American who can see right through people like you who need to get better informed before running you mouth. thats the difference between young and old, educated and not, and most impotantly hope and feat. Obama for America. My Hope is Alive.

Barrack will more than likely win, and we'll see what happens when you vote for another person with no experience.
He's a first term senator, and when he was in the Illinois Senate, he voted over a hundred times as 'Present'. His friends say he did that because he like to seriously analyze stuff, and that's fine -for the Illinois Senate.
Imagine if we get hit again by terrorists, when they call him to go to DEFCON 3 or whatever, how long will he take to make a decision.
I'm not really pleased with either candidates take on health care and how to pay for all these things, but I just get the same feeling from Barrack as I did with GW. His rapid ascent to the top is eerie and reminiscent of the anti-christ. Just kidding about the last part, but seriously, he has gone up way too fast to really absorb anything along the way.
Good speaker, yes. Rock Star - yes. Good leader - 'Present'.
And by the way, Obama is completely ignoring EP. At least send your wife dude. You've come down to Houston twice already and are sending your wife next week. We'll see what happens, but maybe we've learned our mistake by electing people who will 'learn on the job.'
Time will tell.

stupid, foolish, ignorant, clueless. all of this are derrogative terms to refer to hispanics. i bet a true hispanic would never insult another hispanic this way .i am a 25 y/o hispanic and i vote clinton and by changing my name to juan shows your stereotipical attitude towards hispanics. that would be like me calling you malik or shanikua. i resent your atempt to juan me. clinton has done more for hispanics and african americans than barack hussein obama ever has. but african american voters have short term memories and are quick to put a white hood on bill clinton because its hard to face yourself. thats selling out. and keep taking juan shots at me .i love it. viva la raza
